Our adult baking workshops are a fun and relaxed way to learn new skills in the kitchen while creating delicious treats to take home. From mastering the art of piping beautiful buttercream flowers onto cupcakes to making a range of indulgent chilled desserts, each session is designed to be hands-on, enjoyable, and suitable for all levels. Whether you’re looking to try something new, build confidence in your baking, or simply enjoy a creative morning or evening out, our workshops are also perfect for community groups, clubs, or local organisations wanting a fun and memorable activity together.
Cupcake Decorating
Our adult cupcake decorating workshops are a relaxed and enjoyable way to learn new skills while having fun! You’ll be guided through the techniques of piping beautiful buttercream flowers, as well as trying out different styles and finishes to create elegant, show-stopping cupcakes. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to get creative, you’ll leave with a box of 6 stunning cupcakes you’ve decorated yourself – and the confidence to recreate them at home.
This session will last approximately 1.5-2 hours
Chilled Desserts
Join us for a relaxed and indulgent Chilled Desserts Workshop, where you’ll create three stunning showstoppers to take home and enjoy.
I’ll begin by demonstrating how to make a beautifully light pavlova. Since the baking and cooling time is a little longer, I’ll have one prepared in advance for us to decorate together with fresh cream and your choice of Crunchie and caramel or seasonal fruit. Everyone will receive a portion of this dessert to sample or take home.
You’ll then get hands-on, making your own banoffee pie and cheesecake from scratch – starting with the biscuit base and building up layer by layer until you have two delicious desserts ready to set and take away. I’ll also have finished versions prepared earlier so that everyone can taste and enjoy along the way.
This session will last approximately 2 - 2.5 hours
